In component manufacturing, riemann combines precision, flexibility and material control. Functional parts, interface components and structural components are produced in automated milling cells with repeatability of up to ± 0.01 mm. Complex geometries are implemented efficiently, regardless of whether they are individual pieces or small series.

from an 18-ton block to high-precision optics

From an 18-ton aluminum block, riemann manufactured a high-precision component for an optical application in the semiconductor industry. The aluminum used: high-purity, low-tension, of exceptional dimensions – a material that requires special material expertise and process-reliable processing. In a very short time, we reduced the raw part to 3.8 tons. More than 14 tons were machined in a controlled manner – with enormous volumes but uncompromising precision. Dimensional accuracy and surface quality in the µ-range, zero errors, no rework. Fewer than five providers worldwide are implementing such projects. We're part of it.
